On October 30, 2026, the Roadshow of the Dedalo Minosse International Prize for Commissioning a Building will arrive in Catania with a conference entitled "Designing: Architecture, Competitions and Construction".

Hosted at the Order of Architects PPC of Catania, the event will provide an opportunity to discuss the role of architectural competitions as a tool for promoting design quality and fostering dialogue between architects, clients and construction companies.

The programme will explore key issues shaping the future of cities and territories, from project feasibility and the role of construction companies to the opportunities offered by architectural competitions in addressing urban transformations, preserving existing heritage and regenerating peripheral areas, public spaces and infrastructure.

The roundtable discussion, "Catania and Southern Italy", will bring together professionals and representatives from academia and the construction sector to examine the challenges and prospects facing the region.

The event will also present the travelling exhibition of the 14th edition of the Dedalo Minosse Prize, showcasing projects and experiences that demonstrate the value of collaboration between clients and architects in delivering high-quality architecture.
