The "remembered" Primordial descends and touches the Planet is the first episode in a series of exhibitions on Luigi Pellegrin's work, on the occasion of the centenary of his birth.

The title may seem enigmatic, but those fortunate enough to have met Pellegrin know that the tension of designing a new habitat was an extremely pragmatic experience for him.
Pellegrin is a radical architect.
By radical, I mean both the ability to penetrate reality in search of the ultimate meaning of things and the search for origins. From these firm points he explored the meaning and place of humanity in the Universe.
A series of large-format drawings presents his personal research into the construction of a new place for humanity on the Planet. Visions of great strength, but also of great respect for the ecosystem.
Visions of a liberated land, where the built environment is concentrated in dense nodes raised above the ground.
Contrary to the weak contemporary approach, borrowing research from science fiction and rooted in the visions of Louis Sullivan, Pellegrin proposes a bold new strong way. Clearing the soil is the constant imperative of his research; humanity's place is above, in specialized macro-excrescences, connected by lines containing energy flows. On the ground, the natural reclaims space, the artificial moves upwards in a few, dense, singular points.
Pellegrin, shifting perspective, jumping to the scale of the Planet, shows us how to approach the issue of sustainability, today overused, in a "different" and courageous way.
