Bob Noorda died


One of the most important designer for the renewal of Italian graphics died. Bob Noorda, who was originally from Holland but adopted by Italy, received several awards. Amomg all, he was four times winner of the Compasso d'Oro award and received the honorary degree by the Politecnico di Milano.
He designed many brands, such as those for Coop, Milan underground, Lombardia region, Arnoldo Mondadori Editore, and he curated the trade image for Agip, Banca Commerciale Italiana, Richard Ginori, Mitsubishi. Moreover, Bob Noorda designed the road signs for the undergrounds of Milan, New York and São Paulo.
For the Dedalo Minosse Prize, he designed the plaque that is still given to the winning clients and architects.
