30th of May 2008 - Opening of the exhibition at the Palazzo Valmarana Braga of Vicenza
After the award ceremony, about thousand people visited the exhibition opening at the Palladian Palazzo Valmarana Braga in Vicenza. The exhibition has been curated by Stefano Battaglia and Marcella Gabbiani. The party was accompanied by live jazz music and a buffet made of typical and traditional food and wine of the region. The suggestive light setting designed by iGuzzini highlights the relief of the façade from the XVI century. The yard has been equipped by sponsors and sustainers with their products that have contributed to create the atmosphere of the event, thought, following the Italian tradition, as a big party with a rich set.
The music background of the exhibition is by Vittorio Cosma who composed the sound track especially for this exhibition. All together there are 25 architecture projects on show with videos, models and interviews to the protagonists - clients and architects - of the project. At the end of the exhibition, on panels, there is a survey of other 50 clients, divided by categories of work. The exhibition is open until the 24th of August (free entrance, 10 am - 6 pm, closed on Monday).
